The Lancaster Conservatory of Music was struggling when Jim Weber of Weber Advertising & Marketing took the reins in an effort to revitalize this great organization. I was working as a graphic designer at Weber Advertising at the time, and Jim knew I had a background in music. Naturally, I was enlisted to help created a number of initial marketing pieces for the conservatory. However, when Jim's vision for a new, user friendly website became our main focus, I slipped into the position of project manager.
The new LCM website was going to be fully customized with three password-gated admin panels for the organization administrators, the teachers, and the students/parents. I played a role in designing all facets of this project, including lead designer for the main portion of the website. I also helped to prioritize each individual page; facilitated communications between copywriters, developers, and designers; and acted as liaison between main stakeholders and creative/development teams. To keep this project and all of its contributors organized, I used a custom Trello board as my task management tool.
